Throughout the year, the Mounties entertain audiences by performing drills at rodeos, participate in parades and other community events, as well as competing in drill team competitions throughout California and the Western states. The Mounties practice every Sunday and Wednesday at the Clements Stampede Arena on Hwy 88 in Clements. The team also has monthly general meetings. The practice locations & times are subject to change during the rainy months. Currently practices are Sundays and Wednesdays from 6PM till dusk. The Mounties also raise their own money through fundraisers and donations and use the proceeds to purchase equipment, uniforms and pay expenses for out of town competitions.
